Animations
Both of the pieces below are animations from choreography of K-Pop groups, focusing on a specific part of the song. The technique used is rotoscope animation, where the artists draws each frame by hand in a lowered FPS format to create semi-realistic animation.
The one on the left depicts are section of choreography from the song Double Knot by Stray Kids, where the lyrics specifically inspired the choice and decision in creating the piece. It has been formatted in a GIF style. (2021).
The one on the right is an older animation from my first learning curve with this specific technique. The animation depicts a section of choreography from the song Wave by ATEEZ, a fun and bubbly song, fitting for the nearing summertime when I first created the piece. It has been formatted in an MP4 style. (2020).
Both were created in Adobe Photoshop at 12 FPS, drawn with the brush tool, pooling a collective 23 hours (between both projects).
