Upcycle Art Fest Promo
A mock art fest poster and program combination, with a map of the location and details about what's inside.
The process had been a little rocky, between balancing the overall theme of the project with my interpretations and feelings about the project. Originally I'd gone for oranges, depicting the 70s, when recycling and upcycling had started it's rise into its niche. Though the colors never fully spoke to the piece, so after some more digging, I found some greens that better fit both the overall message, and the time era I'd been inspired by.
The map presented itself a new challenge, as I'd never had to think of a map that should actually lead people to what they're looking for, and found it difficult to conceptually design at first, before settling for simplistic and opting for less details and more landmark, prioritizing the event over the super detailed version.
