Jazz in the Valley Poster
Jazz in the Valley poster made for the Jazz event in KC.
I had a lot of different ideas, none that really stuck as well as the microphone and simplistic imagery. I chose to go for a color palette inspired by jazz moodboards, using bright and bold colors to draw and catch your eye. There was a thoughtful use of hierarchy and planning for this project to go through.
It was hard to do justice to the theme while sticking to my personal design choices, though I think this was a good and clever solution to both ends.
Made in Illustrator, finished in Photoshop. (2021).
